Short bio

Sabina Olijve is a professionally trained singer with international experience. She has shared a stage with the singer of Deep Purple and Rainbow, Joe Lynn Turner and was a backing vocalist in a support band for KISS and ZZ Top. She has performed at venues like Vienna State Opera or Opera Royal de Liége.

As a lead singer in a project Rock the Opera she performed in many European countries (Norway, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Macedonia, Italy, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Greece) and in Israel.

She works as a backing vocalist for the BSP band (Balage, Střihavka, Pavlíček), and they have performed at open-air festivals throughout the Czech Republic, such as “Benátská noc,” “Létofest,” “Votvírák,” and “Jam Rock.” They even had the opportunity to perform for a crowd of 34,000 people at the Sinobo Stadium in Prague.

Being a member of a successful project “Aquababes 2016” brought her amazing opportunities, for instance she was the face of “Aquila”, a brand of water, appeared in Czech commercials and their song “Nejsem další” turned more than 13 million views on YouTube.

“Sibyla” and “Mefisto” are the musicals in which she appeared in the Hybernia Theatre. With Prague Shakespeare Company she performed in “Winter’s Tale” in the Estates Theatre and played the role of Lucinda in the musical “Into the Woods.”
In addition to her work in Europe, Sabina has also gained valuable one year experience as a singer in Dubai, performing at renowned venues such as St. Regis, Hilton or Jean-Georges.
She performs with her guitarist Martin Homola as an acoustic duo at private events like weddings, birthday celebrations and at various venues in Prague.

As a graduate of the Prague Conservatory with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communication, Sabina has the perfect blend of talent and business acumen. She currently works as a production manager for lifestyle magazines Marianne and ELLE Czech.
