Bio

Sabina Olijve is a singer of Czech-Dutch origin living in Prague. She studied Popular Singing at the Prague Conservatory and currently performs in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Most often she can be seen and heard singing with her guitarist in the duo Sabina & Martin at various occasions such as weddings, corporate events and in some Prague venues.

Since 2018 she has been collaborating as a solo singer with the Rock the Opera project and since then her voice can be heard in concert halls all over Europe, including prestigious venues such as the Vienna Opera. As part of this project, she had the opportunity to collaborate with the rock music legend Joe Lynn Turner, known from Deep Purple and Rainbow, and shared the stage with him to sing classics such as Smoke on the Water. This is a project that combines rock music with classical music - rock hits are performed with a symphony orchestra.

As a vocalist of the famous Czech band BSP she performed at leading Czech festivals (e.g. Benátská noc, Létofest, Votvírák) and together they supported the American rock band KISS and ZZ Top in Prague's Fortuna Arena for 34,000 spectators.

She was part of the AquaBabes project and in 2016 they released the song Nejsem další, which currently has over 13 million views on YouTube. Additionally, she had a one-year experience in Dubai, performing at various events and having regular gigs at luxury venues and hotels (St. Regis, Hilton, Jean-Georges, etc.). She has experience in theatre (The Estates Theatre - The Winter's Tale) and in performing in Prague musicals (Hybernia - Sibyla and Mefisto, Kolowrat - Into the Woods). She has collaborated with various bands and orchestras; for example, she worked with the Václav Hybš Orchestra, touring the Czech Republic in 2016.
